Tonny's Story
Over twenty years ago, I began my career as a house painter. With my paint bucket in hand and tools in my backpack, I would cycle to work, always with a big smile on my face. Many people laughed at me, but I was determined and had a goal in mind. That goal has now been achieved. Tonny's Schildersbedrijf has grown into a company known for its high quality and craftsmanship, and in some streets in The Hague, it has become an indispensable part of the community.
My team and I stand for quality. At such a level that the paintwork is still in good condition after 8 years. At the beginning of my career, various mentors taught me the art of painting and the tricks of the trade. Discipline, an eye for perfection, and excellent cooperation within my team have led to the current level of quality, of which I am proud. But it doesn't stop there. Every day, we continue to improve the quality of our painting and the efficiency of our work. This allows us to continue to develop as painters and as a company.
Our first priority is the care and respect for the house we are allowed to work on. We understand that having painters in your home every day can be stressful. That is why we do our utmost to make our customers feel comfortable. We are welcomed into someone's home to make their environment more beautiful, and we do so with respect for the residents, their privacy, and the house. Every home we paint is treated as if it were our own, and nothing less. We are always open to feedback and are transparent in our communication.
This attitude of mine (and my team's) towards customers has its roots in Cape Verdean culture. Cape Verdeans, the silent migrants of the Netherlands, are known as hard workers who will do anything for their family and friends. That is how we see and treat our customers, and we will therefore always do everything we can to satisfy them.
Every summer, Tonny's Schildersbedrijf's shed can be found in the streets of The Hague. The high quality of the paintwork and the rock-solid trust in my team and me have resulted in long-term customer relationships and sometimes even good friendships over the years. We make our customers fall in love with their homes again through our love and passion for our work. We are not just any painting company, but a painting company with a heart!
